This issue of human trafficking is very important to us and our good friends Matt and Beth Redman! COMING HOME TO MAIDENHEAD

This friday see’s the LZ7 LIGHT tour hitting Lindz’z hometown of Maidenhead. Its set to be an amazing night and is the official LAST NIGHT of the tour… we have been up and down the country and across the world this year with our show!! THE LIGHT TOUR SO FAR…

Happy summer people! Hope you’re all well, just a quick update on what we’ve been up to in the last few weeks. First off, after a great Big Church Day Out, we headed for France!

And what a beaut it was!! The festival was called Batir sur le Rock and set on an outdoor stage next to a river in Laval. The crowd were well up for it and we even had an appearance from our royal family! Kate and Wills masks appeared on the front row and we felt right at home! Thankyou Laval!

When we got home we were really excited to get in the studio with Matt and Beth Redman. Lindz and his lovely wife Lucy had written a song together with the redmans for an amazing organisation called A21 who specialize in fighting for justice for the millions of people caught up in human trafficking! We’re so excited to be able to support people like A21 who rescue people who need it the most. (look out for the track being released soon)

Next up was a gig called ‘Livin It’ in Burgess Hill. We played a show at the end of an awesome skate competition put on by the local church there. The sun was out, the skaters killed it, Adapt rocked it and then we had a blast! Thankyou Burgess Hill!

Next up: The Urban Hero Awars 2011!

Wow! The urban Hero Awards were to celebrate some of the amazing things that the young people of manchester and further away have achieved over the last year. Some amazing stories of young people shining their light and making a huge positive impact on their communites! LZ7 got to end the party with a bang performing with Twelve24 and even some superstars from the workshops we teach around manchester. Such a great night, we loved it!

From one end of the UK all the way to the other. We arrived in Inverness for a show with a long line up of great bands including our friends The Steels! The Looooooong Long journey through the mountains was all worth it for a great reception from the excited scots who gave it all the dance moves in the book for a quality night!

The next tour night was at Sheffield at the O2 academy… it was rammed and you guys went bananas!! Loved it.. big up Fir Vale, High Storrs, Notre Dame and the rest!!!

We feel so blessed to be doing so much exciting stuff!!! We have got so much on over the summer so check the tour schedule on here and come see us..Stay Tuned………………….

The Light Tour so far

Yes People. We’ve grabbed a brief moment to catch you up on the last few weeks of LZ7 on the road.

With an awesome schools week in Lincoln behind us and an incredible gig at Sincil Bank Football stadium still ringing in our ears, we were set for another big one at Liverpool Space!

The first stop on the road to Space was Christleton High School. We spent the day there getting involved in their R.E day and performing a taster of our full live set. It was a crazy day with a lot of surprising mosh moves never before seen in a high school!! (Creative bunch!) Next stop was Knowsley Park High School where we set up for a day of lessons and mini gigs in their very fancy drama studios. Greeted by bacon sarnies, we knew it was gonna be a top day!
The gig at Space Liverpool was awesome! We were buzzing to see so many young people from Christleton and Knowsley as well as the faithful Space regulars, jumping around, throwing shapes and ultimately, throwing God a high five!! Amazing, leaving us on a high with Big Church Day Out next on the gig list.
The gig at Big Church Day Out was incredible! It was really special to see the whole of the UCB crowd area rammed full of people from all over buzzing and rreally getting into it. We felt honoured to be flying the flag for the UK artists and to top it all off, we had a big surprise for everyone, Michael Tait, Lead singer of the Newsboys, made an appearance with LZ7 for the final track, get out ya seat! The crowd went bananas and Michael looked to be having a great time too. What an awesome end to a sweet run of gigs.
Last weekend we hit festival Batir Sur Le Roc in Laval France playin’ with Christafari in the !evening!! The French rocked man!!! Music defo overcame the language barrier!! Loved it!
Big ups to everyone who’s been praying for us and supporting us over these last few weeks, its been really appreciated. We’ve got a lot of love for you guys! Catch ya soon!!! LZ7
